Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has ordered a full investigation into what caused the collapse of the crane that killed 107 people at Mecca's Grand Mosque in the run-up to the annual Hajj pilgrimage.
King Salman also visited Al-Noor Specialist Hospital in Mecca where he visited the injured who are from various countries.
He also ordered that the hospital ensure full medical services are given to them.
This comes after the Afghan Ministry of Hajj and Religious Affairs on Sunday confirmed that the death toll among Afghans has risen to eight. In addition, almost 30 were injured in the accident.
The crane crashed into Mecca's Grand Mosque in stormy weather on Friday, killing as many as 107 people and injuring at least 238, Saudi authorities said.
