President Ghani has said that the war in Afghanistan has been imposed upon the nation by other countries and the response to this war must be war.

One of the main reasons of this war is because various elements are involved in illegal and underground trade dealings.

In a joint press conference with the President of Croatia, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović , Ghani said that interferences by these elements are still ongoing in Afghanistan.

"War on Afghanistan has been imposed, people and government of Afghanistan are committed to never surrender to war, peace will remain our goal," said Ghani. "Different elements have joined forces, one of which is criminal economy, facilitating the movements for international terrorists," added Ghani.

"We will respond to the imposed war with war, without forgetting the sacred goal of peace," says Ghani.

This was the tenth visit of the Croatian president to Afghanistan, showing commitment to their cooperation with Afghanistan.

"Croatia is committed to its cooperation for a safe, independent and stable Afghanistan. Our cooperation will continue through ISAF," said Grabar-Kitarović.
